Naturally occurring backwards verbal
messages formed in musical singing.
I have found many such messages. I am NOT speaking of anything related to
the category of deliberately manipulated reversed audio that many musical
artists and technicians have embedded within the audio as an intentional
production. What I am speaking of here, is along the lines of the naturally
occurring variety Like in conversational speech. It appears that these messages
are released and or expressed from the unconscious mind and or other aspects
of consciousness, often adding related dimension to the overtly offered
expression of the music.

Let's start with a song that has made a large mark on the collective mind over
the past quarter century. This is the song " We Are The Champions " by the
group Queen. The lyrics of the song speak to the trials and tribulation of rising to
overcome challenges and set backs in our world, and the high price of
monumental achievement. What I've done with this particular sample is this :

It starts out with the song,
f,playing forward near the end, then if you listen, you'll
hear the faint blip where I flipped the directional switch in motion ( I did this for
spontaneous and activated affect ) .. you'll hear the preceding chorus of the
song reversed,

( it's the chorus, which is also the title, that produces the backwards expression )

I then went to another verse of the song to present this re-occurring inverted
phenomenon for the two slower speeds, because I found this other verse a little
clearer in reverse.

Here is Bruce Springsteen performing his song " I'm a rocker " . I have trouble
making out the forward words ! I am sharing this one because I find the
backwards message quite clear. I think if we could ask Bruce himself what he
was feeling that inspired him to write this song, we would get a clearer image of
what he was expressing backwards here. In any case, I think this example is
pretty clear. Notice he seems to using the " I " ( self statement ) word in this one.

I have found many many such examples. I think it would be quite something to
find some good ones, and layer them into the song as back up lyrics. Back up...
get it ? Also, seriously though, if you are an artist wanting to produce successful
and well received music, it may be worthwhile to see what may be lying under
the conscious surface. Maybe if a recording was done when the singer had a lot
of inner conflict at that moment, maybe it would release itself through subliminal
backwards expression, adding detracting energy to the recording... it's worth
thinking about !
Here is an intense bit of a song that some of you may appreciate. I have directly
consulted with the artist behind this music... he is also the intense thinker and
vocalist. He interprets this backward expression to be relaying his awareness
that this side of his personality being known publicly, could have a negative
impact on the quite professional career, which he's been highly educated to
perform. This is also why he's always used a pseudonym for this aspect of his
work and expression.
