| MATERIALS IN SUPPORT OF THE PSY-OP(S) MODEL To persuade the reader that there is reason to consider Spiricom as a potential psychological operation, listed here are data points that provide sufficient rationale to consider several PSYOP models: George Meek’s trips to Brazil had CIA fingerprints all over them, as is evidenced by his documented collaboration with known insider Andrija Puharich. [exhibits 3a.2; 3b.3] Puharich had ties to the Esalen Institute and NASA (as funding sources), MK-ULTRA (by way of his discoveries related to ELF frequencies and patents), and even the infamous Ira Einhorn. Quite interstingly, the developer and operator of the Spiricom, William O’Neil, had himself been in Army Intelligence with a military clearance status of ‘secret’ and worked in Cape Canaveral, Florida as a telemetry technician for the rocket program. The Metascience Foundation, Inc. had an enormous operating budget in the amount of $250,000. [exhibit 8a.2] This budget is disproportionate to any possible cumulative expenditures made in the research and development of Spiricom technology (which was essentially a tone generator, low power transmitter and standard receiver). George Meek confided in Alexander MacCrae that he had been contacted by an intelligence organization. [exhibit 8b.3] Meek had defense contract connections (Fuller, 1987), lending the Spiricom story to the corporate espionage PSYOP model. Further on this model, it is interesting that the operator of the Spiricom device (Bill O’Neil) had employment experience with Hughes Aircraft (Hughes was notorious for his PSYOPs against friends and enemies alike). Lastly on this model, Meek’s Metascience was funded in great part by McDonnell grant monies. [exhibit 8a.1] Could the insinuation of disinformation into the Spiricom project (namely, the wrong Mueller as the discarnate entity) have been a plot to have at the ready a scandal resultant to the McDonnell funding which might help a competitor win defense contracts away from the paranormal-inclined McDonnell? The scientist supposedly contacted by William O’Neil via the Spiricom device (Dr. George Mueller) provided information that he was a NASA scientist (O’Neil, 1981; Meek, 1982; Macy, 2008). The biographical information on the deceased Mueller supposedly in contact with O’Neil later proved that the Spiricom-Mueller never worked for NASA…but there is an actual NASA-Mueller who shared some resume’ overlap with the Spiricom-Mueller (Hale & Rorke, 2007). This data-point lends itself to the character assassination specific PSYOP model. Could someone, some agency, or some corporation have wanted to associate the legitimate NASA-Mueller with the Spiricom story to have at the ready a tool with which one could sully the good name of the NASA-Mueller? Quite interestingly, William O’Neil (developer and operator of the Spiricom device) who made the now infamous radio communications with a George Mueller who supposedly once worked for NASA, had himself worked in the space program as a computer technician for the telemetry division. Telemetry just happens to be the real NASA-Mueller’s area of expertise. Interesting. Was O’Neil a part of a PSYOP plan, or a victim of one? To conjecture the latter, one must find an analogue of such an outrageous event to substantiate precedent. We have found just such a precedent in the case of Paul Bennewitz- a man driven mad by the PSYOPs of his own government [see exhibit 12b.] Further correlations of interest hint at a PSYOP that screams ‘inside job’! Recall that Dr. Pat Kubis authored an account of the Spiricom story with Mark Macy. Said Spiricom story features communications with a George J. Mueller. Said George J. Mueller is the same George J. Mueller who taught contemporaneously with Pat Kubis while at Orange Coast College, Ca from 1964 – 1967. William O’Neil uses the Spiricom device to communicate with this discarnate entity named George J. Mueller first in 1980, so how could O’Neil have known of the Kubis-Mueller connection? How could O’Neil, making the Spiricom recordings in Pennsylvania, know of Dr. Mueller at all? Well, it just so happens that O’Neil had many opportunities to inhabit the West Coast, specifically California, while George J. Mueller was still among the living. O’Neil had roots in PA to be sure, but he was also the owner-operator of a sales and service company that had a CA location. Furthermore, O’Neil’s Hughes Aircraft employment would have placed him in proximity of Mueller (Fuller, 1987). Could O’Neil have been resurrecting a memory of someone he actually met or knew, so as to be able to provide believable details as he ‘played’ ( gave voice through ventriloquism ) the discarnate entity in the Spiricom sessions? Quite interestingly, George J. Mueller was a physicist with Army connections himself. Lastly, cui bono? Considering PSYOP models through the prism of the question “who benefits?” yields one final candidate: The Roman Catholic Church, or some other organized religious group with similar interests. The rationale: The Catholic Church has condemned the use of Ouija Boards as mediumship, but had condoned EVP as early as the 70’s. This is a strange contrast, especially considering the fact that EVP in its development was considered ‘mediumship of the tape recorder’, or mediumship using a recording device. Despite what was reported, it seems consistent that Catholic Church hierarchy would see EVP and ITC as a threat to their monopoly on communicating with the dead. The proliferation of recording devices meant the problem could not be addressed on the supply-side of the equation; rather the demand for EVP-ITC must be affected. If this logical premise is accepted, then it also follows that an effective means of discrediting the EVP-ITC field would have been to insinuate disinformation into the Spiricom story, even to the point of facilitating hoaxed transmissions at 29.5 megahertz. This would enable the disinformation agency to have at the ready key facts, that when exposed as misinformation, would make the Spiricom story a mockery in the ‘paranormal research community ’ and with non-denominational life-after death researchers seeking alternatives to the monopoly organized religions, like Catholicism, claims to have on communication with the discarnate. |
